Seriously! This has been a great February here at the Falcon’s Nest. Not only have I officially been playing music in Des Moines for 1 year (more on that in a minute), but I am playing my first new acoustic guitar in 15 years and I am debuting new original material all the time. So, THANK YOU to everyone that has come out to shows this year, spread the word online or to your friends and generally purveyed the good vibes! I really appreciate it.
So as I mentioned. It turned out that unbeknownst to me, Feb 27, 2014 was my first official gig in Des Moines. I played the Songwriter Night at House of Bricks (now defunct). It had been since October 2013 that I had been on stage before that so it was a fun experience. New Town, New crowd. So, one year passes and I am playing at Tally’s in Beaverdale on Feb. 27th, 2015. Exactly one year later I am on stage again playing for a crowd of fun folks in my new neighborhood (Beaverdale). Quite a bite has changed in the mean time but I still get to take myself and everyone in attendance away from their daily routines with the power of music. I feel very privileged to share my music with everyone. I don’t know about you but I find that pretty cool. Check out a couple of pictures below for proof and changes.
Stay tuned for some album pre-production updates from The Falcon’s Nest and don’t forget to check out my upcoming shows! Next Show: Wednesday March 11th at The Beaver Tap!
